This will be my first post of this year, and also my first post ever on this blog. I started a blog a while back, but never caught up with it or updated it and eventually it slipped into a rip in space and time.
So I'm excited for a whole lot of new things happening this year. First of all, on the 9th of January I will be flying to the great continent of Europe, specifically to the Ukraine. I am going with a team of about 8 people, like I did when I went about a year ago. Only this time, we're stopping in London, and we get a whole day of sightseeing and shopping! Booyah!
Unlike alot of New Year posts, which go one about people in the past and such, I'm the kind of person who puts the past as far from me as possible, so I'll be rambling about future prospects for the New Year, 2011.
I don't like New Year's resolutions, because I don't now anyone who upholds them during the year. If you're a person who has accomplished your New Year's resolutions, your aces in my book. I mean, only if your resolutions were realistic. If you said "I resolve not to be abducted by aliens", then of course you upheld it. So no cheating.
If I chose to make a resolution, I would probably resolve to stop using double-sided tape. And don't say it's a silly or stupid resolution. Double-sided tape is useless. I think people made it just so that theres an even greater chance that you'll pull it out and it'll stick to itself. And it's everywhere! What if I went to a crafts party or something and all I had to use was double-stick tape? I'd use chewing gum, thats what. Or my own spit, if gum wasn't available to me at the time. But I absolutely hate that kind of tape. Remember that. Don't give it to me for a White Elephant gift this year. I'll punch you.
